I found yoga in March 2020, right as the world slowed down - having never set foot in a studio, I began simply following along with YouTube classes. In March 2023, I stumbled into a yin class with the wonderful Ríonach O’Flynn, who encouraged me to try Ashtanga. I hated my first class… but for some reason, I kept coming back.

By August 2023, I had completed my initial 200-hour Ashtanga teacher training with Ríonach, becoming a registered teacher. Since September 2024, I’ve been fortunate to assist and be mentored by her on teacher trainings and three French retreats. To date, I’ve completed 250 hours of yoga training, with further accreditation in Yin Yoga and Meditation on the horizon. I’m now teaching my own pop-up Mysore-style classes while continuing to grow through my dedicated daily practice.

Yoga has given me more than I ever imagined - not just challenging poses I never thought I could do, but a deep sense of calm, tools to manage anxiety, and the ability to meet life with more compassion and less seriousness. My greatest accomplishment from practice isn’t physical at all - it’s how yoga has woven itself into every part of my life.

I owe so much of this journey to Ríonach, whose guidance and belief in me have shaped the teacher I am today - and reminded me that, no matter how many certificates we earn, we are always students of this practice. My hope is to share yoga in the same supportive, inspiring way it’s been shared with me - to show that it’s far more than the physical shapes, and that the real magic lies in how it transforms the way we live.
